lyrics

Pebbles, scattered freely
through forests of green leaves
glow like stars in the meadow
when the moon shines bright
they will lead us home

But the trail we meant to follow
was eaten by swallows
who flew away and left us lonely
we hear them say:
Why are you so far from home?

And We’ve been walking for days
trying to find the remains of the
breadcrumbs we’ve placed
Full of fatigue we begin
to slow down our pace
but under the trees we will rest
our heads in the shade

The forest is dark, it’s cold on the ground
the sound of the night is terribly loud
but here in the woods is where we will stay
‘till the trees settle down,
the night turns to day

We’ve been walking for days
trying to find the remains of the
breadcrumbs we’ve placed
Full of fatigue we begin
to slow down our pace
but under the trees we will rest
our heads in the shade

Pebbles, scattered freely
through forests of green leaves
glow like stars in the meadow
